When I Get a Dog, I'm Getting An Oodle

For some reason here in Mayberry, USA, dogs that are poodle+other breed mixes seem to be all the rage. Take a look.

What the hell is a schnoodle??
A schnauzer/poodle mix, duh!

OMG - the cutest ever - a Golden Doodle! (Poodle/Golden Retriever)


I hear there are also such concoctions as Labradoodle and Cockapoo. Signs of the Apocalypse, I'm sure.

Of course nothing beats the real thing - our very own in Bryan, America.

But I wonder...what ever happend to (no-breed) Mutts...the kind you could find in the paper/at the supermarket for 35 bucks? When I lived in NYC, I got a mutt from Northshore Animal League &, even, then I was told the Pointer/Lab mix was called a Pointing Lab...what my grandfather would call "propaganda"...
